Gary Brown and myself went to MOT this past Sunday with the UPG banner flying high. Audi represented the second largest group of cars there, my guess is thirty makes. Pete Barada showed up with a couple of tents (Thank the maker seeing it was about 92 degrees out with the sun blistering) pushing NAAC selling some cool tees and plenty if free copies of Hubcentric. We had a UPG/MOT winner with Jennifer Macgir's (I hope I spelled that right) white 1983 Urq taking a second place trophy. A really nice TT concert took first.

Majority of Audis were newer with TTs, bunch of S4 2.7ts and 4.2V8s, loads of A6s and A4s rounding the count out with a handful of URS4s (my old man's freshly painted 1992 was one of them) and a clean 200 20vt Avant. I think last count of Urqs was six: 2 silver Euros from Maine (I wonder who they were ; ) ), two red, and Brian Macgir (again Bri sorry for hacking up your last name) brought his sub 40k white 1983 (2nd place winner) and that awesome red 1985 One of Audi built/Valvoline raced Urq that absolutely screams. I had the pleasure of watching the car in action on the Pike comming home went he opened her up against a brand new M3 and that M3 had a hard time reeling Bri's Urq in.

Other cars had the usual Porsches,BMW, VW and Mercs in attendance to as many rare stuff as before however a nice 300SL Gullwing showed up, 1937 DKW rodster, couple of 550 spyders (silver look original, black one didn't).

In the end Audi still does not have it''s own catagory at the show. After this last show I think it's safe to say that we may have our own catagory. Again they only way for that to happen is we need more people to show up. So make plans to be there next year it a great time.
