[urq] So long, UrQ

Thanks Mike. It's funny, before Elaine Catton -- who is married to Axel
Catton, who is apparently now in charge of some big new dealership in NYC --
took over, the editor was getting a bit...antsy...about my writing style. I
was a little too negative for some people and biting the hand that fed the
magazine, so to speak.
After Elaine moved here and started writing the column I emailed the editor
and told him that not once in my few years of writing did I resort to
bashing the English or Germans (food/dental for the UK,
skinhead/Nazi/wearing running shorts with dress socks & shoes for the
Germans) as a crutch for my writing. But for some reason Elaine has to knock
the US in every column. The US may be screwed up in many ways, but that's
just a weak writer.
Seems my complaint took for about a month or two, and now she's back to
bashing the US.
Oh well.
Best
Jon
