Claus/Dave
I just picked up a spare valve cover from storage, and Dave, I'll share that
the port below and to the DS of the internal turbo breather pipe is the PCV
vent for the valve cover. It's the one that comes out of the valve cover and
has a 90 degree elbow. I find it very interesting that the external port is
much larger than the internal port. The internal port looks to have a lot
of extra meat for drilling a larger bore up to the size of the pipe at the
exit of the valve cover. I'm convinced this was designed to accommodate boring
of the internal port to match the head demands of PCV.

That said, it sits in the back of the head, without baffle, windage,
perforation box, or diverter, just waiting for a hard launch.

There is no question in my mind that on hard launch, it's not the block
sloshing that creates the problem, it's the head sloshing that creates the
problem.

Dave and Claus, I will send you detailed pics of the AAN valve cover so you
can looksee for yourself.

Best Regards to a beaten horse.

SJ
