Eric,
Thanks for the post. I've considered this for some time but have never moved forward with it. For the rear Tail/brake lights what did you go with. It looks like the standard or cheapest option is the 19-LED 1156/1157 base bulbs. I think if I did it though I'd lead toward either of the high power options like the 3-watt Luxeon unit or the 3x1watt High Power bulb which seems to have the highest lumen output of the bunch. I looked at the SMD LED's as well but I'm not very familiar with the SMD type.
What did you do for Instrument lights? Have you dont this on any other cars. I want to convert my 91' CQ over to LED Red instrument bulbs. I may do the same with my dads C4-A6 too if I can find the right bulbs.
