Correct Steve, clutch is behaving as if pedal is depressed. The only
experience I have with slave removal is on 01E boxes, which have mounting
bolts instead of the pin, and there's a little edge on the flange, allowing
the cylinder to rest against clutch spring pressure before installing the
bolt. Does this one have a similar edge? 

I didn't detect any movement when trying to walk it out, but I'll try it
again today. The engine was not yet started when this occurred, but I did
fire it up shortly afterward.
