As an alternative , spring sleeves can be made of aluminium .
BTDT
I have some of the original sleeves wich I salvaged when I replaced them
all .
No more then the stamp on the enveloppe ...Let me know if you need them .
@Dennis , what do you use to grease the window tracks ?
I gave it a spry of WD40 once , and that really improved things , but didn't
last long .
