[V6-12v] Timing belt tools

Hi,

I read one "tool less" procedure where you drew some timing marks on the 
parts and on the old belt. Then you counted teeth on the old belt and 
transferred the timing marks to the new belt. Then install new belt and 
adjust tension to "be the same as the tension for the old belt". Rotate 
crank by hand a few turns and be done...

The problem with this procedure is that it doesn't necessarily align the 
cams correctly. The valves may not get bent but the timing will depend on 
the tension on the belt as the cam sprockets will rotate slightly as you 
tension the belt. I noticed that on mine, the cams seemed to be a few 
degrees out of alignment. The engine runs ok but I wouldn't mind correcting 
this...
