estimate

Quote is a fixed price....any problems they have are
their problem

Estimate is a guess....any problems they have are your
problem (assumeing normal standards of care and
competence)

Having said that the lack of pen oil is below the
standard you would expect so you could argue that
everything that follows should be fixed for free
