[V6-12v] Pesky cruise control module (where is it?!?)

Folks,

I'm having trouble locating the cruise control module on my 1994 90S.

Everybody and Bentley says the cruise control module is located behind the
glove box. I have the glove box out as well as the kick panel attached to
the glove box. Looking up, I see the passenger side airbag. Looking forward,
I see the air box and fan assembly. Forward of the air box -- between the
air box and the firewall -- is the ECU. Looking left, I see the radio.
Looking right, I see the A pillar. Where the heck is this cruise control
module supposed to be?!

Is this one of them deals where the location is different depending on if
you have airbags or not?
