Job is all done. The "lock carrier" isn't that bad to get out, but there
are a few things missing from the Bentley CD. Now that I've done it, it
should take about a half an hour to do in the future. The things that were
"vague" were how to get the sides of the bumper released from the "clips".
Pull down HARD and out to release the clips. Other was a few things that
weren't mentioned that needed to be detached, like this little lower cooling
duct, and the supply line from the windshield washer tank to the headlight
washers.
The other thing you need to do to remove the lower coolant line, is to
remove this front engine "thingy" (lower rubber mount between the front of
the oil pan and the bottom of the radiator support/lock carrier. No mention
or picture of this "thingy" in the manual, but it isn't too hard to get out
once the "lock carrier" is pulled out.
