[V8] Pentosin Leaking

First, there are three hose nipples on the bottom of the tank. The most
common "seeper" is the larger one that the supply line to the pump sits on.
The others are return lines from the separate power steering and brake
systems.

The hose material shrinks with age and the crimped-band clamp no longer
makes a seal. You have to cut off the band. If you have sufficient hose,
it's a good idea to cut off a half inch or so so that you have "fresh" hose
to go over the tank nipple. A good hose clamp will stop the leaking. Be
aware that the tank plastic also becomes somewhat brittle and may crack if
too much force is applied. The nipples ARE reinforced with metal inserts,
but cracking can occur where the inserts end.
