[V8] Brake Upgrades?

It should be mentioned that there is no brake setup out there that has
the stopping power of the UFOs, that can still fit inside of a 15"
wheel.
That said, the Wildwood setup that fits under a 15" wheel using a
conventional caliper setup has better stopping ability for a 3,850 lb
car (than the G60), it is still no match for the UFO, or big reds with a
larger A8 (or similar) rotor...
My thought on the matter is that if you are going to spend some amount
of money on a brake upgrade from the G60, don't waste your money for a
nominal increase that is still able to fit under a 15" wheel. If the
wheel size is the issue, upgrade back to the UFOs. :-)

I know that Keith engineered a system that fit under the stock wheels
using
the Wilwood Superlite caliper. Also, check out RPI Equipped on line.
They
sell the brackets for Big Red conversions, and they have two Wilwood
packages, one for 11" and one for 13". I believe the 11" will work on
V8s
that have been converted to the S4 strut set up and will fit under 15"
wheels, but check with RPI to make sure. At $795, the Wilwood package
is a
steel in my opinion.
Cheers.
