Jeremy's comment about insurance companies strikes a chord. I read a notice 
in my agents office a month ago that stated they will not insure vehicles with 
salvage titles, among other things like suspension modification. I guess I 
must have looked concerned while reading it because my agent asked me what part 
of the notice I didn't like. I said well you are insuring my car with a salvage 
title should I be concerned that this company will ditch me when it comes 
time to renew? I reminded her about the fact that Progressive had done this to me 
already. They found my name in a list of results posted on my local autocross 
clubs web-site and told me they would no longer insure me (I wasn't the only 
one either). She couldn't say for sure so I'm crossing my fingers and dreading 
the time my renewal comes due.
