[V8] Gimps one and two

Yep I still have my Audi.  I got a 1997 A4 1.8tsqm laser red.  Here are
some pics of it that I took right after I bought it.

It is a manual, and it has about 96K on the odo.  It was pretty sad that
my V8 had less miles on it when I sold it than the A4 had when I bought
it!

Oh well.  It has been a very well cared for car.  It had been dealer
maintained by two of the Best dealer Audi Techs in North America.
Jorge, whom dad and I have known for nearly 6 years, took care of it
it's entire life.  

I bought it from Christian Long the Audi Club of Florida President.  It
was his wife's car, and has been babied it's whole life.  Plenty of
spirited drives, but never abused.

It has APR stage 1 programming, New Turbo at 62K under "warranty", Not
abused, just had the opportunity to have it replaced for free so they
took it!

To be honest, this thing scared me the first time I drove it.  1) I
hadn't driven a manual in a year and a half.  2) I hadn't driven a
Turbocharged Audi in nearly 3 years (dad's 200tq that I learned on), and
3) my left foot had atrophy due to driving the V8 for so long. 

Needless to say I stuck it in first, pressed the gas, let out the clutch
and ZZZZZZZZZZOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!!!!  I was gone!!! SCARED THE F-ing
crap out of me.  

The V8 has all the power you need up around 80MPH, but on the low end
lets face it.  The torque just isn't there.  This thing is a
200HP/245LBFT beast.  It is pushing 240 LBFT at right around 3K!!!  So
it just launches!!

It has Sport Suspension out of a 2001 S4 and now has S4 Front and rear
swaybars 29mm solid front and a 16mm solid rear.  It is now glued to the
road!!!

All in all I love this car.  Around town and up to 80MPH I would take
this thing over my V8 any day.  But when I get the hankering to do over
100MPH, the power just isn't there.  That is when I wish I had the V8.
I miss my occasional sprints up to 145MPH and really sticking it to some
shitty as Civic.  

But, alas, I have to settle for kicking the crap out of them on the low
end!!!
