[V8] 4.2 Oil in coolant

Looks like it is in fact engine oil in the coolant.
The milky substance in the coolant is pretty black,
looks too black to be transmission fluid. I'm going
to get the radiator pressure tested to be sure.
The only thing I can conclude is that the oil is in
fact getting into the coolant through the pitting on
the surface of the block. I guess we're going to try
silicone to fill in the pitting, hopefully it will
hold. Else we have a junk 4.2 block and none to
spare. Can these blocks be shaved? I'm thinking that
if this doesn't work, I will tear the block down and
fill the pitting with aluminum epoxy and send it to
the machine shop to get shaved. Any comments? It
might sound selfish but if my father gets fed up, I'm
eyeing up this engine for my 5spd. Hehe, terrible.
