[V8] e-brake adjustment

My experience is that the cables are fairly easy to replace. They are
likely frozen. They are not terribly expensive, in Audi terms. I recall
about $40 but that was a couple of years ago. Also likely is that the
caliper arm that the cable connects to is either frozen or close enough that
the spring will never release it even if you can free it up. Calipers were
also not terribly expensive. Once the cables and calipers were done I had a
like-new functioning E-brake system. Still concerning is that you may also
have a frozen handle.

flat and non-engaged position since I took ownership of the car over one
year ago...the e-brake does not work at all, and the lever feels as though
it's immovable even when pulling on it with a great deal of force. The rear
brake pads are good at 90%.
