[V8] A/C components

My venerable V8Q needs a replacement air conditioning compressor and condenser. Before I get the horror story from my local Audi agent, does any list member know of alternative supply options. Some part numbers would be really useful too.

I have heard that some parts are common to GM models and come much cheaper that way.
