[V8] horn and cruise control gone?

Well, this is interesting.  I went to hit the cruise control the other day, and nothing happened.  I'd just had some work done, and I thought maybe some parts had gotten broken.  I kept hitting the switch, and I could hear the relay over in the passenger footwell clicking, so I'm sure it's getting connection to there.  Well, the car then went to the shop, and four weeks later, I have it back.  Now the horn doesn't work.  Same symptom: I can hear the relay kicking in, but nothing happens.  It worked, then didn't work, then worked once, then quit.  Anybody have any idea what's going on?
