[V8] new problem I need help with - no start :(

Excellent - I ordered the reference sensor for the 5000 Turbo Quattro this AM - was about $20
cheaper than the V8Q version :)

Is this another fairly common problem I assume? I know I have had to replace this same sensor on
my datsun 280 zx turbo, which we use an Electromotive standalone system on.

V8 Ignition Reference Sender (G4) is part number 077 905 381. The Engine
Speed Sender (G28) is 077 905 381A. They are interchangeable except the G4
has black coating on the connector and G28 has gray. I used two G28s and
put black tape on the connector for the reference sender position so I
would not mix up the connections.
