[V8] front shock insert replacement question

Hey Ingo...  Hmmm, thanks for the input.

I did this on one car, and I can think of two others friends did that we did
the same thing on WITH Bilstiens.  No failures to speak of so far (2 years
later).  I did hear something about a breather, but I was under the
impression that the oil would also help keep anything in there from
freezing.  But, then again, we live in Seattle, so we VERY rarely would ever
see a below freezing situation here.

I definately won't do it again with a Bilstien, but it will be interesting
to see how long the shock lasts with the oil in the strut tube.  Like I
said, two years and seems to all be fine.
