I have checked the hydrualic fulid it is full the leak I have is coming from
around the transmission pan or the selector switch , maybe this is not the
proper name but it is the switch which is attatched to the cable which operates
gear slection in the transmission. The pan of the transmission seems to be real
difficult to get down , remove the exhuast and a mysterious heat shield?
Anyway I will check the rear seals on the distributers just to make sure , I have
already looked over the steering and could find no leak. The problem with the
outer cv boot is unrelated I just found when I was under the car that it is
bad, and I have never had to replace a cv boot before thus my question on how to
go about it. Do you have to remove the strut assembly to get at the boot? I
am hoping there is some trick I do not know to make the job a little less
onerous. Thanks George
