[V8] R&R steering wheel and air bag

There is a procedure in the manual - I can not recall it from memory  
but I think you disconnect the "reserve" power supply via a connector  
behind the driver side console side panel, and disconnect the  
battery. Not sure of the order or if that matters. To prevent codes  
from being thrown, do not turn on the ignition with the air bag  
disconnected and battery connected.
I would find and read this procedure. If need be I can dig it up and  
email it to you.

physical removal is pretty easy - just two bolts on the steering  
wheel. I don't think you have to remove the column top cover.
Static electricity is a big deal - keep yourself and the car body  
grounded. You don't want to launch your air bag into orbit....
