[V8] Torn Boot Idea..? (used to be Cooling Labyrinth, used to be POP...)

That's the steering rack boot, and the conventional take on type 44s
(V8s, 200s, 5ks) is that when the boot goes, the rack's not far behind.
To (properly) replace the boot requires the rack to be removed and
partially disassembled. Then reinstalled. Then reasonable chance rack
needs to be r&r'd again in the near future, especially if there's a
substantial crud build-up.

Biggish $$$ if you don't do it yourself. Not one to heed my own advice,
I recently had my boot replaced rather than do the whole rack (rebuild
yours for ~$250) due to time constraints. Fully expecting to have to
do it within next 12 months.

That all said, I've never heard of a slipcover boot application here,
but what the hell, if the rack's doom is imminent anyway, why not see
what you can come up with?
