[V8] Cruise Control Wiring

My son went through a similar problem on an 87 5k a while ago. He repaired the initial break using crimps, and everything worked fine. Later though the same window and sunroof problems cropped up again. It turned out that the crimp connection caused the wiring to flex in another direction so that the wire loom just past the door jamb in the fender well was rubbing and that caused a break at that point. With 14 year old wiring any sort of stress is going to break it very quickly.
