[V8] UFO invasion!

Yesterday, I noticed a new and truly strange noise - sort of a 
woooooooo, WOOOOO, WOOOOO!!! coming from the brakes. Sounded like the 
sound track from a very bad SF movie. Seemed to stop after a few 
blocks, then start up again after stopping and restarting the car.

Looked around, thinking this perhaps was a sticking rear brake 
caliper - and I did smell the all-too-familiar odor of something toasted.

Stuck my finger in between the spokes of the rear wheels and touched 
the calipers - nothing hot there, lets go look up front.

Right front brake had something very, very dead stuck in it - fur, 
vertebrae, not much else, dried out and toasted well. Something (a 
rodent?) met its doom inside the UFO brake drum and was squashed and 
toasted by the operation of the brakes. Yuck. I'm going to have to 
take the wheel and the rotor off (later) to determine if all the 
remains are gone . . .
