[V8] Hyd pump banjo

OK, thanks to Chris Semple and Kneale Brownson I was getting my loved V8 on the road and have a buyer in the wings, Now thanks to me I broke the 17mm banjo going to the hyd pump! The pump swap was complete and it was the last thing
I touched a wrench to.(Hamfist!) Guess I was so excited to drive it again.
So now I have to take the pump back out,
and find a way to remove whats left in the threads, no problem.
But does anyone have a old bolt to sell and send? I will
contact Chris and Bruce on Monday, but maybe they
read the list on weekends????????
I still have my Acura TL and I bought a 02 Crown Vic
Police Intercepter. very, very clean. Was a Secret Service car
from DC. Was able to see the title and the records from
the GSA, the disposed of the car. I put Billsteins, new
Kumhos, tint, K&N air intake, superchip tuner, under drive
pullys and a 3.73 w/trac loc carrier and ring and pinion. Will do the pipes
and mifflers next week. The thing really moves for a sled.
By the way just my .02, I aggree with Roger W. well written. And I came close
to a '02 A8 when I bought my 04 TL. Was a nice ride but just didnt feel
right. More to go wrong and lots more $$$$ to get fixed. Is hard to beat the feel of a well put together V8! I still prefer driving over the TL.
