[V8] Strange issue

... sounds like a cold OXS to me ... has he replaced the OXS lately?  It will be interesting to pull codes as that will tell you if the ECU is seeing a problem with the XOS heater circuit.  

A test for this theory would be to simply disconnect the sensing lead of the OXS to see if the situation improves ...
