Yessir, ETKA and ATP doesn't help here, the vented rears have also been
listed for years as on 5000tq wagons and 200tq wagons <ALL>, even in the USA
cars. Never seen it except on the 91 200w, and it uses a unique rotor (also part
of the 5ktq/200 wagon app). Ingo, I'm pretty sure you *can't* use the
smaller caliper on a v8 (hence my not interchangeable), IIRC the 36/38 caliper
claw won't be wide enough to stuff 2 brake pads and the vented rotor with the
piston fully retracted. You *can* put the v8 rear caliper (with carrier) on a
early 5ktq/w using the 91 200 rear rotor...

I see now. The 447 615 423 and ... 424 applied to the other (lesser)
100/200 Audis with, according to ATP "higher permissible weight
option." Probably available everywhere but the U.S.

I imagine you could use the lesser ones -- but in any case the pair
should have the same piston size -- and obviously the later, more
powerful cars had the larger pistons.
