[V8] Heat Soaking V8

Seeing Ed's comment about variable fan speed made me wonder if anyone
has updated a 90 V8 climate control head unit and ecu with a later model
year?  
Be nice to have the later style head unit in my 90 V8.

I've always turned on the A/C to cool the engine some when I want
because it runs the electric cooling fan.  If you are already running
it, then set the temp up to where the auto fan speed will trail off to
almost nothing to ensure that the system thinks there isn't much/any AC
work to do.  The electric fan will still be running though.
