[V8] Cruise Control Issues

Thank you for the cruse control 'heads up'. I'm on my 3rd column switch in
130k mi, and again have developed intermittent CC switch problems. I expect
to find the broken wires you describe.

Side comment: I am impressed by the frequency and variety of repairs on the
audifans list. Other than routine maint in 130k, I've had only a ps pump &
hoses, CC switches, a tranny solenoid and now a steering rack + motor mount
fail on my V8. It's kept in an unheated garage. Rear-ended in Anaheim by a
Geo Metro (which was completely totaled) we had only paint scratches on the
bumper. His insur paid for new bumper shocks, but not needed.
