So a little late to this.
If your running the 3.6L ECU I'd use the 3,6L intake, and exhaust
manifolds. I'd also get bigger the 4.2L injectors as the stock
injectors tap out before the redline. Is the car in an Auto(most
likely) or a manual (conversion car). I am working on testing to see if
the larger 4.2L TB's can fit on the stock PT intake. I am already
looking to find the material used to coat the inside of the PT intake
(haven't hardly looked) as I am porting the rough areas out and would
like to restore the smooth black finish it had.
The ECU's in the 3.6L should be smart enough to learn the motors setup
and adapt. I'd also advance the cams a few degrees after driving my
V8q. I just drove 2 cars and the cams make a MUCH difference, so I'd
say do both.
