[V8] abusive relationship

That is exactly why I was ignoring it Scott.
A few years ago I found
when I changed my t-belt, I had the same problem and ended up changing
this bearing. I still have the old one - and it looks and feels fine, but
the noise went away. I put a new belt on when I did all the other recent
motor work but since ALL of the other rollers and bearings were pretty new
I left them alone. I also have a new(er) tensioner and friction pad. My
current plan (due to poverty and I have other stuff to do - like find a
job) I guess will remain to ignore it in the hope it will go away. This
technique worked fine to "fix" a noisy lifter. Actually, a few
sustained trips to the red line seems to have cured that one.
Did I
mention my new motor gets up to 130 right quick? :-)
