[V8] Steering Rack Centering, and other stuff

I'm pretty sure that's why the Airbag light is on: someone was behind
the wheel and broke the clock spring.
On the road... 11 to 11:15 is straight. Letting go of the wheel let's
the wheel track back to about 11:30, and the vehicle pulls to the right
a bit. Moving wheel to 12 pulls to the right even more. I had other
things to do on the car today (see below) so I'll pull the wheel off
another day.
Currently trying to figure out if my heater valve is sticking open or
not. Heat worked great in the winter but now that it's a good 95 out,
I'd like some cool air. A/C clutch engages and stays engaged, only the
09 error on the HVAC system, but warm air comes out of the vents. I
hooked up a hand vacuum pump to the heater valve and played with
positive and negative pressure until I was fairly certain the valve was
working correctly. I'll be getting a variable orifice tube and new
accum next week as the car goes into the shop for R12 substitute and
pressure checks. If the wrench says pressures are good, and air is
still warm, then I'll go back and pinch off a heater hose to be 100%
sure. I'd do that today.. but.. well, they don't make those heater
hoses easy to get to.
