[V8] TPS?  - Injector Seals

I have a deadspot in my throttle just above 2000 rpm.  It will fluctuate the rpms while continuing to depress the pedal.  Then it will resume to normal rpm / throttle position ratio at about 2300.  When the car is in this "dead" position it will buck violently.  If I press pedal quickly I can "overshoot" this dead spot.  It make for interesting driving experience.
Is this a Throttle Position Sensor?  Where is it located and is it a costly part?
Please advice that to do?

I replaced the Injector Seals (all 16).  I was amazed at the loose fitting injectors in the intake.  There was a large amount of goo in and around the injector opening in the manifold.  This drastically improved the Idle and the perfromance from the engine.  I wish i had done this years ago.  The seals were no longer elastic, and I'm sure it was a vacuum leak.  Guys spend the $16 and replace these seals.
