Roger,

No.  IME there was never a belly pan on any of the 200's, certainly  
not my 200q20v.  There are the brake ducting vents, but that's about it.

As to your new alternator being toast: Not so fast. When you turn on  
the ignition does the battery light illuminate?  If not I suspect  
that debris/snow has dislodged the blue field wire to the  
alternator.  Plug that back in and you're good to go.  I hope so, at  
least :-)
