If the shaft, please let us know where you are able to source one...

Re: IC oil gauage issues, mine works fine but, on occasion, after 
turning off the car, the needle hesitates, then moves to peg at the far 
right.  Turning the ignition back on swings the needle back to 0.

I assume it's a bad ground?
