[V8] running short of hair to pull out

This has probably been asked, but are there any codes?
Maybe you need to get down to basics. Put on a fuel pressure tester  
and maybe even a volt meter on a coil B+ terminal.  Somewhere it is  
trying to tell you what is wrong.
