[V8] Toyota UA & recall

That's a good point... I have been wondering if they use the same gas pedal
on all the vehicles involved.

I have heard that the recall involves a metal part that is added to the gas
pedal somehow. I suppose it is possible for different designs of gas pedal
to share the same electromechanical interface with the software in such a
way that it fails in the same manner.

I've heard told that parr of this recal is going to include a reflash that
adds ina safety feature common on othe drive by wire makes, from an inside
source.

This will basically kill the throttle (close it) when the brake and gas
pedal are pressed simitaneously.

I am pretty confident its software, one reason being its crossing platforms.
The programing is the most universal thing amongst one car manufacturer.
