[V8] Alternator rebuild kits

I doubt you will find a kit. Find a shop that rebuilds alternators
(often they do a lot of big truck kind of work) and bring them your
bearings. They will match them up by either part number or size.
You may want to pull off the grease seals from your old bearings and
count the balls inside. Sometimes cheaper bearings have fewer balls.
The regulator should be available from any parts house.
On reassembly, I take some steel wool and polish up the slip rings
too. A real rebuilder would actually turn them down in a lathe, but I
think that needlessly removes copper. The deciding factor is what
kind of shape they are in in the first place.
