[V8] fuel level sender

Oh oh oh I know this one!  Its easy to take out.    The sender is attatched to the access hole, on the V8 anyway,  so you tap out the retainer ring after removing the carper above the tank,  and then disconnect the few fuel lines and an electric plug,  and lift it out.

What happened for me was I pulled mine out and there are two wires to the float's reostat.  They move back and fourth and wear over time.  Easy fix was go to a hardware store?  Get some thermostat wire, cut it open and take one strand and splice and solder.

Make sure you take and coil this wire into a 'spring' so it gives you room to play in that tank.
