[V8] amplifier ground

So easy question... Again... How did others do this?  My amp is on the drivers side of the hump in the trunk mounted with some bitty screws.

But I need to move my ground.  Wondering if you guys think I can usw a sheermetal screw into the area there.  The fuel tank is right below it,  so a bit concerned there.

Any good suggestions other than that within a foot or so of that spot.
