[V8] Well that's your problem right there..

So,  today it is GORGEOUS out, so I decided to get busy on the audi and miata today.

So on the plate was the front motor mount on the V8... Which was sheared in two, of course.  The replacement seems far too spongy to do any good, as well.  Now the curious part is that there was a 1/2in gap between the two pieces of the old mount.
This new mount still had to cover this gap, and appears to have done so by stretching a large bit.  I take it this is not normal... Nor do I see how this can really do much good for 'mounting' the engine.

Any conjectures here?  Both hydraulic mounts out maybe?  The car still bucks a bit going into gear.. So likely the front subby mounts are bad.... Again.
