More than likely your motor mounts are bad if there's a 1/2 inch gap from the top of the mount bracket to the bottom of the mount rod base.
I suggest the 034 mounts since new OE mounts are pretty pricey. I'm using them on my 5sp and on my 20vt.
didn't really feel any difference on my V8 since my suspension is pretty teeth chattering anyway.... but on my 20vt it took allot of the slop out of things.
I wish they made the tranny mounts for the V8. They make ones for the 5cy cars,
but they wont work.
And what do you mean the car bucks going into gear?
