[V8] The saga continues !! Smokey V8

Hi Folks!

 

Well I write this, dismayed and disillusioned as ever. Its the same  old story as ever. Very smelly black smoke and exsssive fuel use. 

This is what I have replaced so far !

Fuel pressure regulator, Plugs, leads, rotors and caps. Lambda/ oxygen sensor (old one was giving a fixed reading of 0.45v and not switching?) 

Without having any form of manual for the V8 I've always had to rely on the internet and you guys for advice.

Does anyone know what pin number on the ECU is the feedback from the Lambda? I suspect this now, as I remember when I still had my VAGCOM working it would come up with an error message something like "Low or intermitant voltage from oxygen sensor."

 

Any other advice or suggestions will be gratefully accepted !!!
