[V8] Bought 1993 Audi V8

Hey Ricky...congradulations, and welcome to the tribe.  It doesn't  
take much time at all to remove the drivers timing cover, and have a  
look and see if it's cracking/wearing/black fuzz everywhere, or if it  
looks clean and the belt teeth look good.  If it was last done @ 60K 
(and however many years ago), it probably won't look so good, if it  
was recently done, it should be obvious.  2 -10mm bolts hold on that  
fan, lift it up and out of the way, then the 2 plastic cover hex bolt/ 
washer thingy's(8mm?), and you're looking at it.  The parts car I've  
got looks like someone replaced the belt, but nothing else, so don't  
assume anything.  Looking forward to hearing about it....Sincerely, Tom
