[V8] Worth Investing in Paint Job?

Hey,

I just wanted to get some opinions on what I should do.  My 1993 V8
(blk/blk) has about 108K miles and has a great interior but a fading paint
job outside.  It has some mechanical/ electronic fixes I still need to work
through (mainly the radio isn't working and the Hydraulic fluid is leaking)
but nothing that I can't fix.  I've always dreamed of owning a "mint" V8,
is it worth investing around $3K into the paint job on this car to try and
get it there or should I try to just drive it as-is until a car closer to
perfect comes along?  I still regret passing on a 54K beauty I saw a couple
years ago...
