[V8] Sputtering, stalling, and balking

If the question is throttle response I would be thinking: 

Throttle Position Sensor
Idle Air Motor
Mass Air Sensor
Coolant Temp Sensor (rear of passenger head)
Knock Sensor(s)
Thermostat (if it was running hot). 
Plugged Cat's

I doubt they even have a 2x2 connector to pull the codes with and you would be really helping them find the diag panel, and blinking them out for them ;-)
