The Quantum TD is a great car - BUT!!!
The '84 EPA mileage ratings show the auto at 32 mpg and
the stick at 42 mpg (mixed city hiway)(I'll take a stick)
The auto tranny is easily and cheaply replaced ($60 local wrecking yard)
- I used a Audi gas unit with my diesel torque converter and governor.
I didn't miss the "E" setting - it just put the thing in neutral any
 time I let off the gas
I would love to find another one with a stick - great car.
