[Vwdiesel] Coolant pipes A2 NA vs TD

My 85 TD Jetta has the same/very similar pipe to what my 80 Rabbit 
diesel has on it.  I never noticed a difference in size since they both 
use the same hose from the water pump to it, I presumed them to be 
the same.  The only difference I know if is the TD uses the oil cooler, 
which takes a couple of different, more expensive "Y" hoses.
  Some of those prices are really great!  Especially on the regulator.
