Well, I ordered a coolant pipe. Part# 027 121 065 D (86 JEG in Etka) which says "also use: 055 121 324" which is a "cap." It's the right pipe; and has a larger diameter than the pipe that came on the 84 Jetta TD motor I installed (eng cd CY) - the coolant pipe part for that is: 055 121 065 M. Only problem with the pipe I ordered is it's got an extra fitting up at the top that points toward the head when installed. On the Russian site (catalog.exist.ru) it says it connects to the "intake manifold" with another hose. What is that? Water cooled Turbo??
Well, I only hope that "055 121 324 - cap" is a plug for that extra fitting on the pipe I bought - or I'll have to fassion my own or weld that fitting shut.
